Rural Alaska is crushing it!

In anticipation of Earth Day, ALPAR announces the following –

Congratulations to the following ALPAR Flying Cans participants!
Tier 1: Native Village of Kongiganak IGAP (granted $5,000)
Tier 2: Holly Cross Village IGAP (granted $175)
Tier 2: Louden (Galena) Tribal Council IGAP (granted $130)

The groups above were selected as the finalists for this year’s
Coca-Cola Bottling of Alaska & the Odom Corporation’s can crusher grant!
(be on the lookout for applications again next spring)

The funds will allow the communities to purchase aluminum can crushers
(either small hand-operated and/or larger mechanized versions such as balers).
