FollowCongratulations to our ALPAR Flying Cans participants! They sent in 3,915 pounds of used beverage cans (UBCs) via members of the Alaska Air Carriers Association in the second quarter of 2023. UBCs are routed to the Anchorage Recycling Center, which then sends reports to ALPAR, which in turn pays the market rate for UBCs quarterly. Participants also sent in 484 bags of plastic beverage bottles, which also went on to recycling.
